Atalanta will be looking to slay a giant when the Italian minnows take on Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League quarter-finals on Wednesday night.
This season’s surprise package, who finished third in Serie A despite the 13th-biggest budget, face off against the likes of Neymar, who is paid more than their entire squad combined.
But do not underestimate Atalanta. Most experts on Italian football will tell you they have been one of the best teams in Europe this season.
Plus, PSG have only played two competitive matches since French football was suspended back in March.
The Ligue 1 champions will hope Kylian Mbappe has recovered from the ankle injury sustained in the Coupe de France victory over Lyon last month.
Atalanta vs Paris Saint-Germain: Date and kick-off time
The quarter-final will take place at the Estadio da Luz in Lisbon, home of Benfica, with kick-off at 8pm on Wednesday night.
It begins the Champions League’s unique one-off format in the Portuguese capital.
There will only be one leg for the remaining knockout ties, all of which will take place in Lisbon between now and August 23.
