He observes that the flagbearer of the National Democratic
Congress (NDC) is ignorant with a very poor track record that he cannot teach
this government anything positive.
“Your track record is pretty ugly relative to the financial
sector and your temerity to criticize this government on its attempt to clean
up your mess is mind boggling. In August 2016, then running mate and now Vice
President, indicated in his lecture at the national theater that our financial
sector was in serious comatose. He further mentioned that six banks were at the
verge of collapse as at then if nothing was done”, the Presidential staffer
revealed in a post sighted by MyNewsGh.com.

So, it’s so difficult to talk about John Mahama without referencing
the word; HYPOCRISY.
Dear Mr. Former President, you left office just some 2.8yrs
ago. Your track record is available for reference and anytime you speak, we
will subject you to strict proof by fact-checking you against your track
Sir, your track record is pretty ugly relative to the
financial sector and your temerity to criticize this government on its attempt
to clean up your mess is mind boggling. In August 2016, then running mate and
now Vice President, indicated in his lecture at the national theater that our
financial sector was in serious comatose. He further mentioned that six banks
were at the verge of collapse as at then if nothing was done.
So, sir why are you pretending that all was well under your
regime? Your brother’s indebtedness to UT bank led to its collapse. What did
you do then to salvage these banks from the woods? Your administration nearly
collapsed ADB and commercial bank for very despicable reasons. And you still criticize
the current clean up?
Sir, under your watch, the BoG was giving out universal
banking licenses like bofloat on sale by the road side.
How did this start?
It started with a lot of complaints that financial
institutions could not honor withdrawal demands of customers. This is what we
saw with the likes of DKM, God is Love, ASN and later to Midland savings and
loans, Gold Coast Financial services etc. Sir, your poor control and
supervision of the financial sector is what occasioned this current mess.
As a mark of a true and good leader, President Akufo-Addo
didn’t sit aloof for the system to cave in. Under him, the BoG is doing it’s
work without fear or favor. This regime has come in to save over a million
depositors secure their funds with these moribund institutions. I bet under
you, sir, there would have total carnage as your incompetence would have reared
its head in this matter. And knowing you with stuck indecisiveness it would
have been nothing but chaos as these depositors would have lost their funds.
You should be applauding the president, H.E. President
Akufo-Addo for saving the financial sector. It looks as if for you, all you
care about is the coming elections and how you would be president again. A
mirage that won’t happen. I want to ask you sir, with all due respect, what is
it that you still have to offer this country in 4yrs that you couldn’t do in
8yrs as vice president and ultimately president? To give back Nyinahin bauxite
concession to your brother like you did before leaving office?
God has been too kind to you sir. You have been an assembly
man, rose to become an MP, went ahead to become a deputy minister and later
became a minister. You still rose to the high office of Vice president and
served for 3.5yrs and as faithful as God has been to you, ultimately you became
president. You lost an election and became a former president, you never got
content then you’re now back as a presidential candidate again.
Sir, I can’t say that you have a problem with gratitude or
ingratitude but you’re challenged with contentment. In having to pursue this
attitude of aggrandizement, please don’t exhibit hypocrisy. Sir, i don’t want
to be mean but this country is already deeply-drowned in hypocrisy and its
leader shouldn’t be, in other to help her.
Dear John Mahama, all your mess is being cleaned up. Your
Inflation of 15% is down to 9% under Akufo-Addo. Base rate of 25% down to 20%.
Budget deficit from 14% down to 4%. Import cover of 2 weeks is up to 3.5 months
of import cover. GDP of 3% has grown to 6%. Just to mention but a few.
Clearly, you have nothing positive to teach this government. Your track record is not up to scratch. Anytime you speak sir, your haunting and horrendous track record will be waved in your face.
