Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of defunct MenzGold Ghana, Nana Appiah Mensah alias NAM 1 says he will address the press on August 19, MyNewsGh.com reports.

Nana Appiah Mensah’s MenzGold is currently owing its clients after their activities were halted by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for illegally taking deposits.
Nana Appiah Mensah is currently standing trial for defrauding by false pretence and two counts of abetment to carry out banking business without licence, contrary to Section 6 (1) of the Banks and Specialised Deposit-taking Institutions Act, 2016 (Act 930).
Two of his companies — Brew Marketing Consult and Menzgold Ghana Limited — represented by him, have each been charged with defrauding by false pretence, contrary to sections 20 (1) and 13 (1) of the Criminal Offences Act, 1960 (Act 29).
He has however pleaded not guilty to all the charges leveled against him was recently granted bail in the sum of GH¢ 1 billion with five sureties three of whom must be justified.

In a tweet announcing his intentions to address the press, Nana Appiah Mensah said ” I will address the press on the 19th August,19, regarding the state of affairs of our companies, with final practical resolutions to all pending teasing matters, geared towards a highly possible rebound soon.
