Appiah scores his first goal in four years for Black Stars

Accra, Match 26, GNA –
Ghana’s Striker Kwesi Appiah, scored his first goal, after a four year absence
from the senior national team, the Black Stars.

The Wimbledon striker
converted from the spot kick in the second minute of the game, to record his
first goal for the team, since his returned to the national team after a long
injury.

Ba Adama of Mauritania
equalised in the 3rd minutes, after half time, to make the score line to one
all.

Turkish side,
Trabzonaor player, Caleb Ekuban came in to score his second goal for the
national team after latching onto a cross from Jordan Ayew in the 69th minute.

It wasn’t long when
Thomas Partey got Ghana’s third goal.

The Atletico Madrid
midfielder scored in the 71st minute to complete the victory for Ghana.

Kotoko shot stopper
Felix Anna however had his first cap for the national team, as he took over
from Lawrence Atizigi.
