Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah has disclosed that former Brazil forward Andriano has always been his favourite Inter player.
Asamoah revealed he had some similarities with the Brazilian, who was known as the ’emperor’ during his playing days, and was even nicknamed Andriano because of how he played.
Andriano was a star at Inter between 2004 to 2009, where he played 115 games scoring 47 times. He won the serie A in each of the four seasons he stayed with the club.
Meanwhile, Kwadwo Asamoah who joined the Nerazzuris in the summer has fond memories of the striker and admitted he liked his style of play.
“I really liked Adriano. I was a playmaker and I’m left-handed like him: my friends called me Adriano. They said that my shot was as powerful as his. In the national team they still call me that,” the 30 year old told Football Italia.
Kwadwo Asamoah has featured in 23 three games this season for Inter and has a goal to his name at the club.
